Property prices for rent in New York region

The price per sq.feet in New York has fallen considerably in the last 6 months. During October, the average price per sq.feet was $5.53. The following month the price fell to $5.25 per sq.feet. The following two months (December, January) went through a considerable fall of 73 % in the rent price per sq.feet with regard to the previous two. In the last two months, the price per sq.feet has had a significant fall of 83 %. This has been obtained by comparing the price of $4.66 for the first four months of the sample with regard to the previous 4 months and the price of $3.88 per sq.feet for the last two months (February, March).

During November it went through a strong rise reaching $5,630 In the following two months the average price has fallen 71 % compared to the previous two. During the last two months the price has gone down 90 % compared to the previous average values going from $4,483.75 a $4,028.5 in February y March.
